Blessed Beyond Belief!
Virginia has been amazing! I tell God how grateful I am every day. The blessing of being able to travel across our beautiful United States in an RV is beyond my imagination. I mentioned in an earlier post, I told Tommy shortly after we became a couple that when we retired, we would see America in a motorhome. That was almost 32 years ago, and I couldn’t have dreamed just how amazing it would be.
We had a great visit with our grandson, Justin, his beautiful wife Allyssa, and our precious great-grandbabies. Justin is in the army and stationed in Fort Eustis, Virginia. We stayed at the campgrounds there, and we were amazed by its beauty. I never expected an army base to be so lovely. I took daily walks all around the base soaking up its history and its grandeur. I didn’t know until the day that we were leaving that there was a beautiful trail right next to the RV park. I could have trekked on it instead of the roads and sidewalks. Tommy went for a stroll and found it. It’s hard to believe that my husband found a trail and not me. There was so much to see on the base that I may have missed if I’d found the path. The Lord always works in mysterious ways in our lives.
If you didn’t know it, I’m a history fiend. I love anything historic. It’s one of the reasons I loved being the owner of Johnny’s Bar & Grill. It is steeped in history, but nothing compared to Fort Eustis, of course. The fort was established in 1918. From the Matthew Jones House to Mulberry Island to its archeological sites, this military base contains lots of historical information and sights. When I came across the Bell UH-1B “Huey,” I couldn’t help thinking about how horrible it is that Biden left billions of dollars of our weapons and technology to our enemies, the Taliban.
I don’t want to get political. However, being on a military base while the Afghanistan debacle was unfolding made it challenging not to be outraged. On the weekdays, the devoted soldiers were running around the base in full military gear. I was wearing shorts and a tank top and I was burning up. It was humid, and I always returned to the RV soaked in sweat. How those poor people ran in all of that gear was mind-boggling. We have no idea what our troops suffer through to protect this country. My appreciation for them cannot be described. I am so proud of our grandson. I forgot to get a picture of him in his uniform, and I’m still kicking myself for it. I’m happy that we got to spend time with the kids.
Next, we headed to the Chesapeake Bay RV Campground in Gloucester, Virginia. It’s a Thousand Trails park, and I was initially only able to book five nights. As usual, God blessed us, and we were able to extend our stay to three whole weeks. Our membership allows us 21 days in a park before we have to move on. We’ve stayed in some that you wouldn’t want to spend three weeks in, but this park is fantastic! We met a great guy while pulling into our campsite, and he is here the entire time that we are. Our next-door neighbor enjoys Pickleball too. We have been enjoying his company.
We walked down to the boat dock on our first day here and met a lovely couple in a golf cart with a sweet black lab. I asked if I could pet their dog, and we struck up a conversation. We liked Tom and June right away. Their fishing boat was tied up at the dock. I jokingly said, “I can’t wait to take a ride in your boat.” We were on the lake with them the next day. I’ve never been on a fishing boat that was that fast. We sailed across the water, and it was energizing. June Bug is serious about her fishing. We stopped in a place that Tom scoped out using his depth finder, and she caught a catfish in no time. I’m not into fish or fishing, but I’d guess that it was about four pounds. She wound up throwing it back into the lake. I was distraught for the little fella, and everyone made fun of me. I love all living creatures, and hunting and fishing are not in my wheelhouse.
The next day we went to the Gloucester Point Pier and had lunch at YROC Coastal Bar & Grill with our new friends. It was fantastic! The waterfront views and the massive yachts make for great outdoor dining. The fish and chips were excellent! I actually ate all of my fish. That never happens. The pickle fries were pretty good too. We liked it there so much that we offered to take neighbor Joe to lunch there a few days later. Tom and June had returned home to Newport News, but they met us there and took us for another great boat outing after lunch. We’re hoping that they come back and stay at the campground again before we leave. We really enjoy their company.
I’ve been so overwhelmed with gratitude for the blessed life that we are enjoying. It’s almost too good to be true. In this crazy screwed-up world, we have so much to be thankful for. I’ve struggled with being livid over the state of our nation under its current administration. I can be skipping around the RV park happy as a clam, and after five minutes of Newsmax, the only news syndication that we watch, and I want to punch something. I watch less and less of it these days. I want to stay informed about what is going on, but I have to say no when it steals my joy.
I watch a lot of outstanding prophetic preachers on YouTube that offer hope for our country and the world. I believe that truth and righteousness will prevail. I think that God is using these tumultuous times for the most significant revival that this world has ever seen. Let’s face it. If Trump had taken his rightful place in office, the folks that voted for Biden and his administration would have no idea just how horrible those people are. This uncovering of treasonous behavior by so many will be the demise of the Democrat Party. There are a lot of lousy Republicans in office too. However, I think we’re about to see the most significant political shift this country has ever experienced.
What Satan means for our harm, God will use for our good. The harvest of souls is going to be massive. Keep the faith and continue to pray for our country and those in office. It’s not easy when you’d like to slap some of them into the next zip code. As Christians, it’s what we a called to do. We can make a difference when we unite in prayer. God loves America. It’s His country, and the devil isn’t going to take it from Him. I think it’s the best country in the world. I’m so glad it’s where God chose to plant me. Prayer and gratefulness will save our nation. Don’t stop believing.
The Fourth of July and the celebration of the birth of our nation is tomorrow. Sadly, too many people view the day as a holiday consisting of backyard barbeques and fireworks. The reason for the observance is completely lost on them. This is especially prominent in people under the age of fifty. For the most part, Millennials and Generation Z are clueless about the significance of July Fourth because of the indoctrination in our schools. The educational system has been biased and broken for a very long time. Instead of wearing pride in your country as a badge of honor, it’s now seen as racist. It’s a sad state of affairs.
In my humble opinion, our nation hasn’t experienced a state of unrest like the current one since the civil war. It isn’t politicians that are going to fix it either. They are the reason that we are in this horrible mess, but we voted them into office. We failed to hold them accountable when they didn’t follow through with their campaign promises. We just tsk, tsked when they got caught in out-and-out lies. We stopped demanding truth and justice. But, it didn’t happen overnight. We have been like the frog that was boiled alive because the temperature of the water was turned up slowly. If he was thrown into the pot while the water was boiling, he would have been smart and hopped out. But, when the heat was turned up slowly, he didn’t notice he was being cooked.
It’s going to require a ton of effort from patriotic, dedicated, God-fearing citizens to turn this critical situation around. We can only right the wrongs if people like those who fought against England’s tyranny take a stand and say no to the oppression our country is facing now. We are a free nation because of the sacrifices of millions that put their lives on the line for their beliefs in the country they cherished. Are you ready to stand and fight for our country and return it to its foundation as one nation under God? The Left wants to erase our history that refers to God and the godly individuals that founded this country. They have already done it in our schools from elementary to our universities. It is precisely why so many young people today have no appreciation for the sacrifices of our men and women in the military or our flag. It’s time to tell this tyrannical administration that we are not going to take this anymore!
God’s people need to stand up and stop this train wreck. We have been wimpy and apathetic for WAY too long. We played into the enemy’s hands when in the guise of tolerance, we ignored the truth. We paid no attention to the distortions of facts that the public school system was cramming down our kid’s throats. Many people, including Christians, believe that Thomas Jefferson’s intent with the establishment clause of separation of church and state was to keep the church out of the state when the opposite is true. His intent was to make sure that the state didn’t dictate how the church operated. A testament to the fact is that the Washington Monument and hundreds, if not thousands of historical shrines refer to God and scripture. God’s people built this beloved country, and it’s time for His people to take it back.
Christians stood silent when the government took prayer and the Bible out of our schools. They failed to stand together and fight to stop Roe v Wade. Statistics tell us that over 62 million babies have been aborted since its inception. I, like many others, believed in the “Woman’s right to choose” doctrine. Where did I get the idea that it was okay to kill babies as a means of birth control? It certainly wasn’t at church. I was indoctrinated by the educational system in that belief. I don’t recall the churches that we attended speaking out against it at the time either. I believe wholeheartedly that if God’s people and churches had united to stop the travesty of Roe v Wade, it would never have gotten past the Supreme Court. I have my own Planned Parenthood story, but that’s for another day. Suffice it to say that I am pro-life and don’t want a penny of my hard-earned money going to Planned Parenthood. I’m not alone in this by any stretch of the imagination. Surveys say that 7 out of 10 Americans don’t want to pay for abortions with their tax dollars.
Speaking of surveys, in a 2018–19 survey, 65% of adults in the United States identified themselves as Christians. That’s down from 75% in 2015. The moral fiber of our nation has declined in leaps and bounds, yet 65% of our country identifies as Christian. If we all acted like Jesus’ followers and adhered to the moral beliefs of the Bible, we wouldn’t have government offices filled with ungodly people, socialists, Marxists, and thieves. I know the pool to choose from has been bleak. It’s taken decades of slow decay and a heck of a lot of apathetic and lazy Christians to get us to this point. In our effort not to be labeled intolerant, we became wimpy do-nothings. We stood by while the loons on the Left dismantled our United States Constitution, disrespected our flag, our military, and law enforcement. They steal our tax dollars to fund their agendas and pad their bank accounts while many major cities have fallen entirely through the cracks.
Nancy Pelosi’s district is one of the worst in the country. She has somehow been re-elected time and time again, despite having done nothing for her constituents in 34 years in office. I personally believe that voter fraud has been going on for a lot longer than any of us know. Who in their right mind would vote for representatives like Pelosi and Maxine Waters, even in crazy California?
Let me ask you? Do you identify yourself as a Christian?
n.1. One who professes belief in Jesus as Christ or follows the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.
2. One who lives according to the teachings of Jesus.
I thought I’d share that because I believe many people profess to be Christian when they don’t even know what that means. You can’t call yourself a Christ-follower and say that it’s okay to abort babies. Jeremiah 1:4 says, The Lord said to me, “I knew you before you were formed within your mother’s womb; before you were born I sanctified you and appointed you as my spokesman to the world.” How many of God’s spokespeople have been ripped from their mother’s wombs through abortion? If God knows us all before we are even born, we all matter to Him. How can you call yourself a Christian and go along with the atrocity of abortion? It’s wrong on so many levels.
Isaiah 5:20 is currently being played out in our world. “They say that what is right is wrong, and what is wrong is right; that black is white and white is black; bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.” The current crazy administration is sanctioning lawlessness. They announced to illegal immigrants that’s it’s okay to crash our borders and come here without going through legal channels. The damage it is doing to our country is unfathomable. Murders, rapists, and thieves are pouring into our country because of Biden’s policies. This should infuriate you, even if you are a Democrat. Heroin, Cocaine, and Fentanyl are once again flooding into our country from the southern border. Our President Trump had curtailed that traffic by initiating sensible policies and building our border wall. Biden got rid of all of them with a pen stroke only days after stepping into the office he stole. He has been worse than I even imagined.
It’s time to make some noise, people! It’s time to pray without ceasing that this travesty will not be allowed to continue. I believe that God has allowed the situation to go this far because many people, including Christians, refused to believe the truth about the election. They refused to accept the fact that the destruction of our country is what the democrats seek. The people that sit in front of their televisions eating up all of the lies the fake media throws at them need to wake the heck up! What will it take to open the eyes of those in denial? Are you not witnessing the crisis at the border, fuel prices through the roof, loss of jobs, an inflation rate at its highest increase since August of 2008, and a bumbling president that embarrasses our country every time he opens his mouth?
There is hope if the church will unite. If we will pray and seek God for guidance, He will show us what to do. We need to trust and believe that He will clean up this mess. We need to start talking about the great things He is already doing through this crisis and stop concentrating on the negative. I’ve remarked to many Christians that I am still praying and believing for the restoration of our country, and they act like I’ve lost my mind. They tell me that they are praying too, but they don’t see how we can change things. It’s bigger than us, folks. God can change anything. How can people that believe in Christ and the Bible not believe that He can fix this mess? How can you say that our God who parted the Red Sea so that the Israelites could walk across dry land can’t expose a fraud like the 2020 election? Why are you so sure that He has deserted America?
America certainly deserves to have God turn His back on us. We turned ours on Him, but that’s not the way He rolls. As the opening scripture of this post says, if we will humble ourselves and seek Him, God will heal our land. We are God’s country. It’s time we started acting like it. Put Him back in our schools. Open up our churches and preach the Word without twisting it to appease the portioners so that your offering plates and seats are full. Call wrong, wrong, and right, right. If your church hasn’t taken a stand and opened its doors, I suggest finding another church. Find a Holy Spirit-filled church that ignites and empowers its people. We need godly people running for public offices. The school boards, city councils, supervisors’ offices, on up need people of integrity on them.
What are you going to do? How are you going to make a difference? Everyone can pray and believe. If that is all, you do it will make a difference. I believe that God loves America with all of my heart, and He will not let Satan take it. Trust me, the devil is shaking in his boots as he witnesses the revival that is underway. People are turning to Christ in record numbers. Renewal, restoration, and repentance is taking place on a global scale. Do not be dismayed. You are about to witness a monumental shift in this nation. I believe the free rein that God allowed Satan to have in this country is coming to an end. He knows it too. The great awakening that is taking place should embolden you to speak out for God and His people. You should be fed up with the censorship of Social Media and the lies of the mainstream media. You should be fighting mad that real news is no longer reported on except for a couple of conservative stations. The double standards of the democrats should make you livid, even if you are registered as a member of the party. You should be filled with outrage that our election was stolen. When all of the fraud and cheating is exposed, which it will be, you should want everything to be done to see that nothing like it ever happens again. If we allow this travesty to continue, it will be the end of our country as we know it.
Please, take a stand and let your voice be heard. Even if you never saw yourself in a position in the political arena, consider it. Write to those ding dongs in congress that forgot that they work for us and tell them how you feel. Wherever your sphere of influence is, use your voice and encourage others to pray and vote for godly people. You can make a difference. We all can. Let’s take our country back, folks. When you pray, do it with confidence. Believe it and receive it. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God. You can’t pray for something while in the back of your mind believing it is impossible and expect your prayers to be answered. Let’s all unify in the belief that God will save this nation. Let’s all start talking about the revival, renewal, refreshing, and reset coming to our United States of America.
Are you with me? I hope that you are. Have a blessed 4th of July. Enjoy your family and your safe and sane fireworks. Just be sure to let your kids know what the celebration is about. Please feel free to add your prayers and positive comments to this post.
I look forward to sharing the positive energy. God is good, and He’s not done with us yet.
I haven’t written anything in so long. I was emotionally paralyzed by the election and COVID craziness. I’ve been on a roller coaster ride from hell with so many fellow patriots. We saw the support for our president continue to grow amidst the relentless attacks from the Left. We witnessed the sham impeachment and felt vindicated along with our president. After all, as his supporters, we were labeled racist, homophobic, xenophobic, and a host of other horrible names. Every time our president was vindicated, we felt vindicated. But, the attacks never stopped. When we witnessed millions of Americans’ support for our president at rally after rally, we knew President Donald J. Trump would be reelected by a landslide. I was sure that I would be celebrating along with 80 million Americans. I knew there would be attempts by the Democrats to steal our votes, but I was sure victory was certain despite it.
I never imagined that the fraud that took place would result in Biden actually taking office. Surely with all of the proof, the Supreme Court would step in, Not! Vice President Pence couldn’t possibly accept the electoral vote results with so much evidence of the steal. Then he did. Then there was the rumor of the insurrection act being used to arrest all of the crooks in Congress, including Biden and Pelosi, and Trump would remain in office. But, the hits kept coming, and on January 20th Biden was inaugurated as our 46th president.
If I’m honest about it, I’m still in shock. Like so many of my Christian family members and friends, I’d hoped that God would step in and give us a miracle to save our nation. He couldn’t possibly allow the president’s position to be stolen by evil people who cheated 80 million Americans out of the president of our choice! Alas, Biden has stepped into the Oval Office. He’s dolling out executive orders like their jelly beans. He’s undone many great things that our president did in a short time with a stroke of his pen. The pipeline he killed has obliterated tens of thousands of jobs. The cost of fuel will rise at unprecedented rates. Medication costs have skyrocketed again. Our tax dollars are not only funding abortions in America, we are now supplying the funds to other countries to kill their babies. The list is endless, so I won’t go on, but I’m scared for our country. I’ve asked so many times, “Why did you let this happen, Jesus?”
God’s ways are not our ways. I’ve wrestled with accepting the situation as being God-ordained ever since January 20th. As a Christian who studies my Bible, I know that nothing happens that God doesn’t allow. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve asked, “Why, God, why?” I’d be a rich woman. The answer I keep hearing is, “Do you trust me?” I trusted God so many times when all looked hopeless, and He’s always come through for me. He has never let me down. He’s not letting down all of the people that have prayed so fervently for our country, either. I believe that things are playing out this way so that all of the corruption and anti-American agendas can be exposed.
Just think about it. If the Supreme Court had ruled that there was voter fraud, every Trump-hating Democrat would have called it a travesty. After all, three of the justices were appointed by Trump. If Vice President Pence had refused to accept the electoral votes, the same people would be crying foul and saying what he did was unconstitutional, even though it would have been allowed under our constitution. Can you imagine if the Insurrection Act had been used to keep our president in office while the law-breaking congress members were arrested? The violence that would have erupted would have been horrific.
And so, our honorable president stepped away from the most highly-respected position in the world, even though he knew he won. He did what the Democrats never would and left the White House requesting that his supporters remain peaceful and make a non-violent transition possible. Did all of his supporters run out and riot and wreak havoc? No, we did not. We let off a lot of steam on social media sites, and many of us were sanctioned for voicing our opinions. Antifa and Black Lives Matter demonstrators destroyed entire cities and killed law enforcement officers and citizens, yet their Twitter and Facebook accounts remain. They are allowed to spew hatred, but I’m not allowed to share scriptures from the Bible. It upsets the folks at FB headquarters. They closed the accounts of the United States President and left those of evil dictators active. I don’t care if you are republican, democrat, black, white, brown, male or female, Christian or atheist; this should bother you. The right to free speech is a hallmark of our constitution, and those rights are being squashed by the big tech giants. Mainstream media lies and refuses to cover real news if it doesn’t fit their agenda. It is wrong on so many levels. Where does the madness stop?
I didn’t intend to go on a rant. I wanted to write a post that inspired the faithful to have hope. I am praying many times a day for God to bring about the changes that need to occur so that we don’t lose the country that I love to the radical, socialist agenda of the Left. I want to see the wrongs made right. I changed my question to God about why He allows all of this craziness to happen and started asking Him what I should do? The message I keep getting is to have faith in Me. Trust Me. Don’t lean on your own understanding because this will not make sense to you. I love this country. It was built on Christian principles by people who honored Me. Do not live in fear of what might happen. Rejoice in the revival that I am bringing about.
I stopped watching the news months ago, and now I’m trying to limit how much time I spend on Facebook. I’ve decided to keep my accounts because I share God there. If all of us patriotic Christ-followers dump the app, who will share Jesus with the folks who need to know Him and His Love? The real challenge is ignoring all of the negative stuff and sharing what is good and helpful. Calling Biden, Newsome, Pelosi, Romney, and the rest asshats, scum buckets, and lowlifes serves no purpose except to help me let off some steam. I want to stop, and I will need a lot of prayers to do so. When I slip up, you are welcome to call me on it.
Keep the faith. God is good, and He has a plan. I hope that His plan is to bring this country back to its roots and make it the Christ-honoring place that it once was. It may be that we have to endure more difficulties so that more souls can be saved. It’s my job to pray and believe and be salt and light. I’m going to do my best to be who God wants me to be, do what He wants me to do, and have all that He wants me to have. I hope that your prayer is the same. We are in this together, folks. It was apathy and an attitude of tolerance that brought this mess about. It took years for our country to degrade as it has, and it won’t be fixed overnight. Pray, vote, stand up for what is right, and expect the best. That’s what I’m going to do, and I hope you’ll join me in that effort.
I’m so excited that we are re-electing President Trump today. I believe with every fiber of my being; he will win by the biggest landslide in United States history. We will also turn some blue states red and elect people who will work with our President to get things done. The things that he has accomplished while battling with the Left through his presidency are mind-boggling.
I’m going to assume that most voters have made up their minds about who they will vote for by now. Just in case there are still some undecided folks out there, I wanted to share some news with you that you aren’t hearing from the media. They refuse to share one tidbit of positive information about our President. As far as I’m concerned, they have lost all credibility as journalists. Their prejudice and bias are reprehensible.
If you haven’t tuned into the feature-length documentary, America Lost, I strongly encourage you to do so. The film explores the life of three forgotten American cities. Memphis, Tennessee, Stockton, California, and Youngstown, Ohio. It is a comprehensive and eye-opening look at why some people, especially minorities, fall through the cracks simply because of where they live and why they cannot see their way out.
It couldn’t be a timelier release for this documentary. With organizations like Antifa and Black Lives Matter wreaking havoc in inner cities that are experiencing so many of the pitfalls discussed in the movie, it’s the perfect time to shine a light on what has been going wrong for decades. Our President, who is not a politician but a businessman, was the ideal guy to tackle the inner-city issues that have long been ignored by previous presidents, Republicans and Democrats alike. Politicians in congress have capitalized on these cites’ plight by lying to the very people they say they are trying to help only to secure their votes. It makes me sick. They are the ones stirring up all of the unrest and violence by pushing the race disparity narrative. Don’t get me wrong; I know that improvements can be made in this area, and it is precisely what our President has been doing.
Allow me to share some facts with you.
#1. Under the Trump administration, the unemployment rate among black, Hispanic, Asian, and minority Americans plummeted to US history’s lowest rates.
#2. Poverty rates for African and Hispanic American’s reached the lowest rates ever.
#3. The First Step Act implemented by Trump in 2018 did more for minorities than any other president in history. It enacted reforms to our justice system to make it fairer and help former inmates successfully return to society. The reforms addressed the inequities in sentencing laws that disproportionately harmed black Americans. By reforming mandatory minimum sentences, that often created injustice, and expanding judicial discretion in sentencing for non-violent crimes, The First Step Act helped thousands of inmates. More than 90% of whom are black Americans. The rehabilitation programs for inmates implemented will help them successfully rejoin society and not return to a life of crime.
#4. Trump is promoting second chance hiring to give inmates a better chance at finding gainful employment so they won’t return to a life of crime. The “Ready to Work Initiative” he launched helps connect employers directly with former inmates.
#5. The Trump Administrations Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which saved hard-working Americans a lot of money, included adding Opportunity Zones for investors. The massive tax breaks and incentives have already created thousands of jobs by bringing businesses to low-income and undercapitalized communities.
The steps that President Trump has taken to reduce crime, unemployment and inequality for minorities are unprecedented. They are all things that his predecessors could have accomplished if they had a mind to. Many made huge promises and never followed through. Obama had eight years to do something for blacks and minorities, and he did nothing. By doing nothing for them and continuing to tell them that the issues plaguing them were because of their skin color, he has done an enormous disservice to us all. He left a legacy of disparagement, and if that weren’t bad enough, he and his Democrat cohorts are calling for violence and riots when President Trump wins.
Please pray and vote. Please vote for the people whose policies represent Biblical values. Please vote for freedom and not socialism. I think there are many smart Americans that can see through the media and the Left’s agenda. I believe that a vote for Trump and like-minded people to every office will result in the most robust economy that we have ever seen. I think that there will be more help for the oppressed, impoverished, and forgotten than any other administration has ever offered. It will come as a hand up, not a handout.
This points to the most significant difference in our candidates. Biden and the Democrat’s want to keep people enslaved in their situations with no hope for change. Our President wants to give people the tools to improve their conditions. A vote for Trump is a vote for hope and freedom. A vote for Biden is a vote for desperation, destruction, and socialism.
Thank you for your time. Now get out there and vote. God bless, Cat
I was expecting to be entertained by last night’s debate, but I could not have prepared myself for the bedlam that ensued. I believe that Chris Wallace deserves much of the blame for the lunacy that took place. I maintain that President Trump was the victor, but it was not an idyllic triumph, by any means. To his credit, it did appear that he was in a debate with Wallace and Biden. The definition of a mediator, one that mediates, especially one that reconciles differences between disputants, does not describe what Wallace was last night. The bias on the part of Chris was unmistakable, and he should be ashamed.
Biden on Obama Care was infuriating. The fact that he touts it as a great program that our president is destroying is laughable. The president’s America First Health Care Plan that he unveiled last week promises to cover pre-existing conditions, be cheaper than Obama Care, expand health care choices, and lower health care costs for seniors and families. Wallace wanted to camp on the fact that it took over three years for the Trump administration to finish building it and that it hasn’t been implemented this late in his first term. The time it took to put the package together apprises me that it will blow the doors off of Obama’s jumbled and mandated program, which he shoved down American’s throats. The failed Affordable Care Act and its 840-million-dollar website should not be seen as a feather in Biden’s cap, but one more reason not to vote for Sleepy Joe. I am grateful that one of our president’s first accomplishments was killing the mandate that forced people to pay fines for not purchasing medical insurance that they could not afford. It is just one of his many achievements, and I can only imagine what he will accomplish in his next term when he has a Republican House and Senate backing him up.
I believe that Biden was on medication to keep his eyes open. He refused to take a drug test despite Trump volunteering to do so. The many times he called my president a clown and the stupid smirk he wore almost cost me an excellent television. It was all I could do not to hurl something large and heavy at it. The lies that spewed from Biden’s mouth were maddening. Did he actually say that Antifa is not an organization? I might have thought it was fake news saying such a thing if I hadn’t heard it come out of his mouth.
I could go on and on, but I don’t think it’s necessary. Do I wish that Trump could have remained calm and less combative during the debate? Of course, I do. However, since Biden got under my skin and almost cost me a 63-inch Sony, I can’t slight my president. I might have walked over and punched Sleepy Joe in the nose. Overall, I think it took great restraint from a president that has been vilified and attacked by the media and the Democrat’s well before he stepped into the Oval Office not to go completely off the rails.
I don’t know if the so-called debate will change anyone’s minds about who they are voting for. Trump fans like me tuned in to see our president wipe up the floor with Sleepy Joe, and Biden fans watched in hopes that he wouldn’t make too big of a fool of himself, as he has just about every time he opens his mouth. If there is another debate, there needs to be a REAL moderator called in. I don’t know of anyone in the media that we could count on to do the job. Maybe they can find someone who will ask the critical questions and address things like abortion, terrorism, the Second Amendment, and the stripping of the religious freedoms afforded to us by the First Amendment.
I’m going to continue to pray for President Trump’s re-election, and a giant Red Wave like this country has never seen. God bless our president, and God bless America.

We are living in unprecedented times. Hostility and upheaval are the words of the day. Sadly, some of you want to blame it all on our president. I’m thrilled to be living in a more conservative part of California now. I can’t begin to imagine what it would have been like for me if I was still living in Hollister and running Johnny’s Bar & Grill. With a monthly nut of over $4600.00 for our lovely home and a requirement that I close my business for four months, only allowed to open with restrictions put in place by a tyrannical governor, it would not have been pretty. I thank God every day for sparing me from the horror that would have been my life.
In my 22+ years as the owner of historic Johnny’s Bar & Grill, I made many incredible friends. We were indeed a family. We are blessed to be living close to some exceptional friends who came into our lives through the bar. These friends were there from almost the beginning. They were a part of our wild and crazy party days. It’s truly amazing how we have all changed, not just in age but also in life’s priorities. We are all on the same page spiritually and politically. The Lord sure works in mysterious ways.
Now to my Trump-hating friends. Some of the comments I see on Facebook from people that I know and love absolutely break my heart. The real haters will not bother to read this post. You are not open to hearing a positive thing about our 45th president. He could personally find a cure for cancer, and you’d find a reason to slam him for it. The reasons for your hatred are unfounded and ludicrous. Did I lose most of you?
I’ve had friends go on about the fact that Trump has been married three times. I’ll bet there are quite a few of you that have been married more than once. I am Tommy’s third wife. We have been together for almost 31 years. I’m glad that our friends aren’t so judgmental about divorce, where my husband is concerned. Why is it so different when it’s Trump?
Another thing that makes the haters crazy is Trump’s brash personality and penchant for saying what he thinks. He doesn’t beat around the bush, and he tells it like it is. If you’ve known me for very long, you know I could just as well be describing myself. I’ve come a long way in that area, but I still have some work to do, which brings me to the fact that Trump has also changed a lot over the years. His views on many issues have changed just as mine has. All of you perfect folks out there that have never put your foot in your mouth, or said something tactless, go ahead and throw the first stone.
Those that knew met me in 1995 and those that met me ten years later would undoubtedly see me through different lenses. By 2005 I had been walking with the Lord for a few years. It changed me a lot as a person. The controlling, manipulative, my-way-or-the-highway, woman had to go if I was going to be all that God wanted me to be and have all that He wanted me to have. He had to slam me to my knees through Tommy’s request for a divorce. Our story gives credence to the vernacular that God uses bad things to bring about a good result. You can read the tale of our miracles in my memoir Born Again in a Biker Bar.
Why is it so hard for you haters to believe that I could change, but our president can’t? Have you folks changed any of your beliefs in your adult years? Have you become a better person? I would hope so. Have you ever done things that you regretted? If you say that you haven’t, I’m going to call you a liar. There I go with that brash, straightforward mouth. We ALL have areas in our lives and personalities that can use some growth. I’m glad that God has been so patient with me. My changes didn’t happen overnight, and I’m still a work in progress.
I can be reckless and occasionally insensitive, but I’ll tell you what I’m not. I’m not a racist, and neither is our president. Apparently, because I support Donald Trump, some of you have decided that I must be racist. That’s ludicrous. If I addressed all of the lies that the media is shoving down the hater’s throats in one post, it would be way too long. I’m going to talk about one issue at a time. Today it’s the lie that President Trump is a racist. I’m going to share some concrete facts that prove otherwise. If you’re still with me and are not a hater, you may want to jot some of this down to share it with your hater friends. That is if they still talk to you. I haven’t written anybody off because they believe differently from me, but many have written me off. That’s just one example of the difference between Trump supporters and haters. With haters, there is no room for a difference of opinion.
Here are some facts that blow the racist falsehood right out the window. I pray that there are a few open-minded, undecided folks that will read this. First of all, the unemployment rate among black, Hispanic, Asian, and minority Americans plummeted to the lowest rates in history under President Trump. If you don’t believe me, look it up. As a matter of fact, I challenge you to research every statement I make. You should know for yourself. No one needs to take my word for it. Under the Trump administration, poverty rates for African Americans and Hispanic Americans reached an ALL-TIME low. Please don’t even try to tell me it was because of anything that Obama did before leaving office. That is easily disputed.
President Trump implemented the First Step Act in 2018 and did more for minorities than any other president in history. That includes our first black president. I’m willing to bet that many of you have never even heard of the First Step Act. I’m going to tell you a bit about it because it was life-changing for many minorities.
First of all, it enacted reforms that make the justice system fairer and helps inmates to return to society successfully. The reforms addressed inequities in sentencing laws that disproportionately harmed black Americans and reformed mandatory minimum sentences that often created injustice. It expanded judicial discretion in sentencing for non-violent crimes. Judges can now look at all the extenuating circumstances and give sentences that they believe are fair.
The First Step Act provides rehabilitation programs to inmates, helping them to successfully take their place in society and not return to a life of crime. Here’s a big one for you, folks. More than 90% of those benefiting from the retroactive sentencing reductions are black Americans. Where does that fit in the racist rhetoric?
President Trump is promoting second-chance hiring to allow former inmates to live crime-free lives and find meaningful employment. He launched a new “Ready to Work” Initiative that helps connect employers directly with former prisoners. Too bad, our first black president didn’t come up with the fabulous First Step Act.
Now let’s talk about the Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Trump increased its funding by over 14%. He also signed legislation forgiving Hurricane Katrina debt that threatened many of the HBCU’s. He made those colleges and universities a priority by creating the position of Executive Director of the White House on HBCU’s. You’d think a black president would have done things like that, not a racist. Trump received the Bipartisan Justice Award at a Historically Black College for his criminal justice reform accomplishments. Would a black college give the award to a racist? I think not.
One of the most significant accomplishments our president made, and you won’t hear about from the media, is the historic tax cut legislation that included the new Opportunity Zone Incentives. They promote investment in low-income communities across the country. Here’s a quote from the Economic Innovation Group about Opportunity Zones: 31.5 million people call Opportunity Zones home (35 million, including Puerto Rico and the territories). The majority of Opportunity Zones residents, 57 percent, are non-white minorities, compared to 39 percent of the country as a whole. Black Americans are particularly over-represented in Opportunity Zones, constituting nearly twice as large a share of the zone population as they do the national population. Would a racist president insist we help bring back abandoned cites like Detroit with these initiatives through tax cuts? According to my Trump-hating friends, he only cares about the rich. Opportunity Zones are expected to spur one hundred billion dollars in longterm private capital investment in economically distressed communities across the nation. That is if we can put this COVID crap behind us and get on with making America great again.
I’m pretty sure the only people still hanging with me at this point are either Trump supporters or undecided folks. This is way too much positive information about our president for the haters to handle. I’ve been reading a lot and doing a lot of research. I got many facts from Ralph Reed’s book, For God and Country, The Christian Case For Trump. You should check it out and also read David Horowitz’s book The Dark Agenda. It will blow your mind.
We all need to step up to the plate if we want to save our nation. If we don’t want to see America become a socialist country, we need to reelect President Trump. You don’t need to like the man, but you should examine the policies he’s made that make America great. Compare them to the policies of Biden and Harris. When you do, the choice is clear. Just imagine what Donald Trump will accomplish when he has a Republican House and Senate working with him. It will be epic!
Thanks for hanging with me. I hope I’ve enlightened you a little. I plan on talking about more of President Trump’s accomplishments as we head into the election. The media has no intention of sharing the truth with the American people. They are in the back pockets of the Democrat’s. Tommy and I refuse to watch the news anymore. The slanderous lies, misquotes, and twisted scenarios are only going to get worse. It would be best if you made your decisions based on your research and your gut. You need to follow your moral beliefs when you check those boxes. I won’t even get started on abortion. That’s for another day.
God bless you, our president, and God bless America. Trump 2020 and a big Red Wave coming. We need to pray daily for all of it.
